In a break from tradition, the largest U.S. bank by assets JPM, -3.32% is loosening its dress code to allow employees to wear business-casual attire on most occasions, according to an internal memo viewed by The Wall Street Journal.
The move is relatively unusual for a Wall Street bank, where suits are typically required for men and women due to longstanding industry customs and the etiquette involved in dealing with wealthy clients.
