It operates primarily in the states of Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
As part of its newfound relationship with Allied, the bank is to integrate its real-time payment solutions into its digital banking platform, which is supported by its existing partner, the Texas-based financial software provider Q2.
Allied announced a similar integration with Commencement Bank, a US-based community bank, last month in another step forward for real-time payments in the country.
