U.S. stocks on Friday looked set to slump for the day of the week and month, as investors prepare for a highly anticipated meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Argentina.

Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average YMZ8, -0.37% were down 135 points, or 0.5%, at 25,256, those for the S&P 500 index ESZ8, -0.29% were off 12 points, or 0.4%, at 2,732, while Nasdaq-100 index futures NQZ8, -0.24% slipped 28.50 points at 6,884.75, a decline of 0.5%.
