Treasury yields climb after U.S. economy posts solid fourth-quarter growth numbers

Treasury yields on Friday rose, as investors sold government paper, after a solid reading of U.S. gross domestic product for the fourth quarter.

How are Treasurys performing?

The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note TMUBMUSD10Y, +1.60% rose 2.6 basis points to 2.647%. The 2-year note yield TMUBMUSD02Y, +2.12% added 3.6 basis points to 2.120%, while the 30-year bond yield TMUBMUSD30Y, +1.25% was up 1.9 basis points to 2.899, with yields picking up after the biggest one-day decline since Dec. 27 in Thursday trade.
