EXCLUSIVE—Marketplace lender Best Egg will move towards financing consumer purchases, including homes, as it looks to expand in 2018, the company told Bank Innovation.
The company will be focusing on offering loans and services that will “create a stronger relationship” with the customer, Sabrina Basht, chief strategy officer for Best Egg, said.
“I think more broadly we need these [products] to be in financing purchases,” Basht said, highlighting both home improvement or buying homes as areas of consumer interest for Best Egg.
